BOX SCORE

What a difference a week makes . . .

Last Thursday the Dons were celebrating a thrilling come-from-behind victory over Evanston for their 4th consecutive win on the way to a 6-2 record.

This Thursday the Dons were hammered by Barrington 10-1 for their 4th consecutive loss.

There were not many bright spots for the Dons. The lone Notre Dame run came in the 1st inning when Matt Walsh led off the game with a walk, stole second, and scored on a single by Erick Zepeda.

It was pretty much all Barrington from that point forward.

Bronco senior Frank Waliczek pitched a complete game for the win, striking out 10 ND hitters to only 2 walks and scattering 5 hits.

The Dons have the next two days off before hosting Lane Tech on Saturday afternoon.
