Not surprised that St. Rita participated in an ugly baseball game. However we at Naperville Central are forever grateful that they are such buffoons over there, because that kind of behavior is what drove Shane Conlon to Central from St. Rita for the 2010 season. And although it cost all of us $250 or so to buy state championship rings after that season, we didn't mind that expense at all, it was well worth it.

You are forever grateful that his father was fired as AD and thats why Shane left St.Rita? Buddy, you have your facts mixed up. Furthermore, play 3 years and then just transfer your senior year? I know Shane, think he is a great kid but what does that say about charachter and commitment? And how ironic that he pitches against Rita in the State Title game and wins? I was brought up with the mentality that when you start something you finish it. Be it a model airplane or 4 years at the same High School. And what "Buffoonery" do you speak of? Teaching the game of baseball the right way and being successful while doing it? Is that the buffoonery you speak of? Shane Conlon had it made at Rita. And it didn't hurt that his dad was the aforementioned Athletic Director. I see his transfer more along the lines of "I'm taking my ball and going home." And not from him, but his father.

I had the pleasure of watching this game. Baseball Dad 46 your son was absolutely great on the mound. Big game and he was a big time pitcher out there. The couple jams his defense got him into he pitched out of. Not only is your son a great pitcher but also a very respectful young man. Awesome JOB!!!

After that fight you have to ask what kind of "buffoonery" goes on in the St. Rita baseball program? Quality programs do not get involved in complete bench clearing brawls, period, end of discussion. Even when the other team starts it. And even you know there have been plenty of other problems over there too numerous to mention here, ie, the head coach picking up a ball in play and flipping it to his catcher. Is that teaching the game the right way?

Hey buddy you got a bunch of facts mixed up, but you obviously are not a person who wants to be confused by the facts (anybody who asks what "buffoonery" is going on at the St. Rita baseball team is obviously not interested in ANY facts), so I won't confuse you any more. Promise.

Minooka 4 Moline 3 --in 9 innings--one of most exciting games Ive ever seen Smile. Too many great plays by both teams to mention all WP--Vogren clutch comes in o outs runners on 2nd and 3rd in 6th with Minooka down 3-2 gets out with no runs--Carson Neuswander makes several great catches in rf. Minooka down 3-2 bottom of 7th 2 outs runner at 1st and 2 strikes Moline ready to pounce field and Minooka gets on then Joe Carnagio with 2 strikes knocks in tying run seconds before Runner thrown out at 3rd. Bottom 9th Carnaagio up with runners at 1 and 2nd 2 outs singles Minooka runner just beats throw home for win--what a game. Moline played a great game heartbreaker--very classy after tough loss . Minooka to face OFallon sat in Sectional final--- GO INDIANS
