Vegas. PG will just have to host the HSBBWEB showcase and convention in Vegas instead of Iowa.
Somewhere warm because we will have to do it in the winter when everyone is not playing games or attending showcase events. It really is a good idea though I would like to see it happen.

3. No clue as to how to properly fix sweet tea.
4. Translators from southern speak to northern speak are more expensive there.

This is a valid idea. Just like we all do on the hsbw site, a convention would be a terrific place to gather, network and learn.
In addition to the "softball game," there could be sessions on the "how to's" of recruiting, showcases etc. I'm sure that there could be a booth area too. People would enjoy it.

I like to think of it as a big family reunion where you actually have something to talk about. And you actually want to be there. Sign me up.

I may be a little biased, but how about in Omaha during the CWS. Talk about a win win. I got plenty of floor space if anyone needs a place to crash

Been in Vegas for three days now waiting...Where are you guys?
I'll add my vote to njbb's - at Spring Training in FL. We'll be there this coming March following both the MN Twins and son's college team. Last year after we returned I learned that there was at least one other HSBBWEB parent whose son was in the same tourney as my son's team, same days, but we didn't know in time to meet and greet.
Whoever's picking up the airfare, that'll be five round-trippers from Seoul, Korea to the event. Thanks!!
If you guys are serious for this, you should start up a poll and narrow it down to five locations. I think it would be a fun thing to do.

Air fare is inexpensive, hotels galore at all price ranges, and convention space is plentiful. Both adult & family activities available in the area and when it's not summer even the weather is good.

rhp05parent hit the nail on the head (flights, rooms, activities) Why have it anywhere else. I don't think you can fly into any airport cheaper or get QUALITY rooms any cheaper or eat any cheaper than Vegas. Plus we could all make money while we're there
