If you are new to the site, welcome. This is our nothing to do in November related to baseball so we chase rabbits. This thread has gone from a simple "random thought" to bashing kids and parents to country music to bourbon to french wine. What next the breakups and exes bash? or how about bad coaches or players we have had? Can't wait to see where this already famous thread will go.

Tough to keep up lately for me ;-)... I'm in the still sampling different Bourbon, Rye, Whiskey, and Scotch phase. Cannot remember all the names - recent ones though were High West, Pikesville Rye, and James Pepper 1776 with the current of Heaven's Door. Being a sucker for TV show's I tried Tim Smith's Climax wood fired whiskey and wasn't a fan - too much moonshine flavor. I should start keeping track otherwise I'll easily forget (byproduct of the drink). Generally though I'm more of a beer (homebrew) guy. I also enjoy the 90 proof Parrot Bay Coconut Rum over ice after a hot day on a baseball field listing to coaches and parents whine.
For another direction - how about movies? Recently saw/enjoyed Bohemian Rhapsody and that even has a relationship to the music sub-context already going... So let's go with movies about music and see where it takes us.

What is the first movie I saw as an adult and still one of my favorites.

Buffalo Trace is probably best bang for your buck. Eagle Rare is good as well. Currenty have an Elijah Craig that is very good.
