The balls were flying off the bats for Deerfield on Tuesday. Deerfield pitcher Zach Dickstein held Maine East to just 2 hits. Deerfield exploded in the fifth for 11 runs, including the second double of the day for SS Andrew Goldstick.

Minooka and Plainfield North had a great 3 game series at all levels--Freshman--Soph--Varsity all were 1-1 after 2--all games were competitive. Minooka ended up winning all game 3s--- 2 Varsity games decieded by 1 run---2 walk off bottom of 7th wins in soph---High School baseball at its best!

Shane Conlon should have had a perfect game, a misplayed routine fly ball in the 7th was North's only base runner.

Game 1 was 3-3 in the 6th until a two out walk started a 7 run ralley. Lp was up 6-4 going into the 7 th in game 2 until a routine fly ball was missed to start the inning STCN played well and we didn't when it mattered most.
