There was a second game that I think was a JV game. I left in the 5th or 6th inning with DGN up 5 or 6 to nothing. DGN won the game, but I don't know the final score.

Congrats to Jordan Rosenberg from Highland Park HS. This past Saturday, Jordan made his debut Spring opening start since his Tommy John surgery. It was great to see a young man work very hard and get back on the field after what he has gone through.
Jordan went 3-2.3 ip, 5 K, 2BB and had a big smile after the game. His Dad looked (itsrosy) very proud.

Congrats to Jordan and rosy on a fine performance! Any good day at the park is always reason to be happy - even moreso considering Jordan went thru TJ at such a young age and came back better than ever. Great to see hard work and perseverence pay off.
Many thanks for the kind words. It was special to see him back on the bump and feeling great. He said that the last time his arm felt this good was his freshman year. It's a long season, so we'll just keep it one game at a time. Nice win last night at a great old minor league park in Springfield. Robin Roberts, Lamphier Pk. is a great place to watch a game. It is also the venue for the Connie Mack State Tournament later in the summer. Last fall they installed a brand new infield, and totally replaced all the turf. It plays and looks beautiful.
