TR,
Yes. It just doesn't sound right. Rolling Stone review was pretty negative too.

Another early production that Meatloaf was involved in was I believe the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I think he may have been involved in the movie or stage version of Hair. Very talented individual.
CD, yes, I think Hair was his first big break.
Oh man, "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad"! That has to be one of my favorites. Now I can't get it out of my head - not necessarily the song, but his voice singing it. This is really bringing back some memories!

Don't want to keep digging up old stuff....but this thread has been fun.....and thought good news should be shared....Per Billboard, Taylor Hicks' single, "Do I Make You Proud", went straight to number 1 on Hot 100.....
....and I got his 2005 CD, "Under the Radar", and my 19 year old, baseball playing son....thinks it's great!
Did someone say he wouldn't sell records?

And I guess all you MOM'S who voted early and often are going to be buying FORD'S now. I saw his commercial last night.
Even Reuben and Fantasia sold records--in the beginning. Let's see if it lasts. I bet not.

WHO???
Reuben has sold 2.2 million records and just received a court decision in his favor for over 2 million dollars his promotors stole from him
Fantasia won a Grammy and has been at the top of the R& B charts since her first record

I was half kidding there TR. But seriously, I don't think I've heard much of either for quite some time except for Studdard's court case. Clay Aiken...where did he go? I think Kelly Clarkson has been the most successful.
Of all of them Clarkson is the biggest star now-- and that happened after her contract with "IDOL" was over--- Listen to the McPhee single and tell me if she isnt headed for stardom

Totally agree about Lady Katherine(sp?)! She's got a feel for what's real and ready to seal the deal! Poet and don't know it!

Taylor's got all of the hot moves going in his Ford commercial that I saw last night.
He's got me wanting to make a bold move to my local Ford dealer so I can look over those sweet, s*e*x*y, and cutting edge Crown Vics...do you suppose the GPS on them can teach me all of Taylor's smooth moves...step by step?

Those big brown eyes are growing on me! I read somewhere she might get into acting.
Big article today about how Kat is bulemic and qualifying for Idol caused her to finally seek treatment and get control over her life. That is a great story. It is even more impressive that she kept the situation to herself during the competition when she might have used it to get sympathy votes.
If someone said they'd give me a million bucks to pick the person who'd still be a star three years from now, I'd pick Katherine hands-down. Heck, even a year from now.
