I have been calling for Taylor to sing "Takin it to the Streets"

I was not blown away by that, but it was entertaining.

Kat was excellent.

I am now pulling for Taylor, but we have one of our scouts who is a much better singer. Our guy has darker hair, but he's at least 10-15 years older than Taylor... Just has a much better voice. Has anyone ever heard a worse version of that song (Singing in the Street)? The parts he can't sing he goes straight to soul patrol and yells it out. And people are eating up his lack of ability for some reason!

I am totally confused, but can't stand anymore bad weather. So TAYLOR is Grrrreat!

Elliott's homecoming had to be the best one. He's a true sweetheart of a guy!

However!! Mom probably needs to stay at the house!

My mother (70 yr young) gave me a "good talkin to" last night about Am Idol and as much as I like to disagree with her she made some good points.

1. "The grey and blue hairs from AARP have figured out that voting more than once thing and will control the final vote. Taylor will squeak by.

2. "Who said that an idol had to be "cut from a certain cloth" My idol was Dean Martin who was a boozer, not the best singer, but a great entertainer".

3. "Katherine is cute and has nice hair but give her a few years and she'll be trading that blue dress in for something her size and she'll need help getting up off the floor after a song". OUCH Mom.

4. "It's a popularity contest and if that boy who got kicked off last week had hair he would still be there. All the girls at Bingo wonder why guys shave their head"

And finally......

5. "That Nashville Star winner gave me goosebumps".

The song that the Nashville Star winner wrote and sang is going to become a Country Classic

Okay. I'm from the south (or is it southwest?) and I have no idea what a Nashville Star is. Is this something on the Country Cable channel or Spike TV?

I would think that Taylor is going to win handily next week but it seems that when someone is voted off that person's voters just switch to another person the next week. No telling who the pro-Elliotts will affiliate with....

Taylor's lead was much bigger in previous weeks. It has narrowed down to nearly nothing. Next week he loses it. Taylor is as good as he's ever going to get. Kat has HUGE potential once Clive produces her.

No Mavericks game tonight and most TV shows have seen their season end. Time to kick back and watch the Idol!

Okay....thank you.....on a news show it was reported that these are the odds coming out of Vegas for Kat (9-5) and Taylor (1-2)....but take heart Holden....they also said they had Chris the odds on favorite from the beginning....so.....anything can happen....that's why if you have a favorite....you need to vote....
