Lake park played schaumburg today at shs....amazing...fun..and intense game to play in...38 runs scored total with lp comin out on top 22-16. Wind blowing out to left produced 6 bombs...2 by one of the mistrata twins on varsity..that kids a stud and hes only a freshman.. Game went into extras and a grand slam by mark stoeven in the 8th puts game out of reach for lp. overall good day to be a hitter....

Are those the mistrata twins that played on schaumburg lightning? Those 2 were tanks!

"Fillipitch started for LT. Threw real well, kind of ran out of gas in the 7th. Couple of relievers came in- 1 walk, 3 HBP, couple hits and Weston came in from CF. NCHS secondbase hit the first pitch in to RF to score the two winning runs.
Kaminska threw 6 for NCHS, pulled at 80 pitches.
His replacement gave up 4 runs in the top of 7th inning to make it look out of reach but...it ain't over till its over. 2 wins for Central in their last at bats in 2 days."

went to watch this game and expected a good game and that is what i got. drew luedtke pitched good for cg but was pulled in 7th with a 3 run lead but billy chapman hit a 3 run homer to tie the game then in the bottom of the 7th cory krupp hit a game winning single.
this is another big win for cg wich has already beat two top teams in barrington and stevenson

How can you have a winning pitcher in a 4 inning game? The rule book says the game must go 5 for it to be official? Umps get paid full for working only 4 innings must be a good deal.
