TR - I am with you. Last night was the first night I had an opportunity to watch an entire show. I think Elliott needs to say goodbye (based on last night's performance). I also didn't think Pickler was very good (sorry Holden). Katherine was outstanding. I also enjoyed hearing Chris.

However, as a longggggg time Rod Stewart fan, having him be a part of the show was a delight! I think to have done his stuff would have been more of a challenge really than the classics they performed. noidea
PAMOM

I agree-- she, Pickler, is no Carrie Underwood that is for sure--and her innocent act wears thin after awhile--same goes for Paris with, as Simon called it, her Minnie Mouse voice when she speaks--is this another act to attract the cutesie vote ?

I think, as we saw last year, we will end up with two true winners--BO and Carrie are doing fine as the top two from last year

And the grey haired guy will get a nice record deal and have hit records--his voice is what they look for in the studio-- would love to see him in concert -- he has to be a gas

Oh Beez...... PLEASE!!!!! Roll Eyes Wink

LadyNMom - I like Taylor too. I agree that he can't dance, but that's ok. I like his voice and thought he ended last night's performance in a very impressive manner. I'd buy his CD. I still though Katherine and Chris were the top two though. Smile

Well since she has admitted to being a butcher perhaps she should select a song next time that is somewhat close to the meat packing industry...

Rollin', rollin', rollin'.
Rollin', rollin', rollin'.
Rollin', rollin', rollin'.
Rollin', rollin', rollin'.
Rawhide!
Hah! Hah!

Keep rollin', rollin', rollin',
Though the streams are swollen,
Keep them dogies rollin', rawhide.
Through rain and wind and weather,
Hell bent for leather,
Wishin' my gal was by my side.
All the things I'm missin',
Good vittles, love, and kissin',
Are waiting at the end of my ride.

Move 'em out, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em on.
Move 'em out, head 'em up:
Rawhide.
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in,
Ride 'em in, cut 'em out,
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in:
Rawhide!
Hah! Hah!

Movin', movin', movin',
Though they're disapprovin',
Keep them dogies movin', rawhide.
Don't try to understand 'em,
Just rope an' throw an' brand 'em.
Soon we'll be living high and wide.
My heart's calculatin',
My true love will be waitin':
Waitin' at the end of my ride.

Move 'em out, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em on.
Move 'em out, head 'em up:
Rawhide.
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in,
Ride 'em in, cut 'em out,
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in:
Rawhide!

(Rollin', rollin', rollin'.)
(Rollin', rollin', rollin'.)
Hah!
(Rollin', rollin', rollin'.)
Hah!
(Rollin', rollin', rollin'.)
Rawhide.
Hah!
Rawhide!

It's certainly worth a try!
lafmom,

I didn't get a chance to watch last night, but did watch last week and posted in favor of Taylor. After reading your note above, "he can't dance, but that's ok", I realized that part of his charm for me is that he CAN'T dance very well, but does it anyway, with great enthusiasm. I suspect I wouldn't have found him as loveable last week if he danced better. Does that make sense?

Rowdy Yates.....my first TV crush.....it's okay PAmom.....you are not alone....

Lafmom.....Taylor is the best! Sorry....I'm just a really loyal fan....and while I think Chris and Catherine will be the last two contestants....TR is right....Taylor is going to be a star......and I know what MN-Mom says about the dancing is true......it's all about charm..... Smile

Julie...makes PERFECT sense to me! And I agree 100%. I love him because he exhibits such abundant joy in singing and his performances. Always brings a smile to my face.

IMO...bottom three tonight (even tho I do not think two of these deserve it) Kellie, Elliott and Paris. JMO...Ace deserves to be in the bottom three just for the greased back hair alone! Big Grin
